Chiricahua Sky Village is located in southeastern Arizona just west of the Chiricahua mountains. The area is a small part of the Chihuahuan desert, an area of almost 200,000 square miles that encompasses parts of northern Mexico and the southwest US (in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona). The climate is milder than typical hot deserts due to the high altitude (~ 4700 ft at CSV), with summer high temperatures around 85-100 F and winter high temperatures around 50-60F.
Our location is in a historically significant part of Arizona just west of Chiricahua National Monument. We are close to the former stronghold of the great Chiricahua Apache leader Cochise, after whom the county is named. The famous Old Western towns of Tombstone and Bisbee are also nearby.
CSV is readily accessible by road (40 minutes from Interstate 10), is a 90-minute drive from Tucson International Airport and about a three-hour drive from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.
