A recent addition to CSV is our first guest cabin. We call it the “Stargazer Inn”. The purpose of the guest cabins is to provide a place to stay on-site at CSV for members who don’t yet have their own cabins or who have Personal Remote Observatories. The guest cabins are also available for visits of prospective CSV members by arrangement with our general manager.
The Stargazer Inn shown in the figure was constructed on site by Mennonite Sheds of Tucson. Guests of the Stargazer Inn have the use of a Televue TV-85 telescope with eyepieces, mount and tripod during their visit.
The Stargazer Inn is heated with propane and has WiFi. Power is provided by solar panels. The cabin has two cots for sleeping, with guests providing their own sleeping bag and pillow.
